Osprey Carrying a Fish

I was sitting out watching two beavers on the McKenzie River in Oregon in the diminishing light after 8 pm, so my camera was set to a high ISO. Then the Osprey that has a nest across the river flew by with dinner in its talons. Atttention back to beavers. Then this heron flies, lands in a tree across the river deep in shadows and a moment later takes off downriver. Attention back to beavers. Then heron flies by up river and who but the osprey comes out of their nest high above it to dart at it as it passes and does the same to another heron that flies by 3 minutes later. Guess someone's feeling a bit territorial. I guess the McKenzie River isn't always peaceful. Attention back to beavers.
