Osprey Just Landed in a Tree

There is an osprey nest near me that I have visited for years, but this year, there is a new mother and much more skittish and protective than the other osprey that used to come before to nest. The nest is a spot by a canal where people often walk. She flies off the nest and then over you as you walk by it, before settling in a nearby tree to watch you. Here she has just landed keeping her profile low as the tree bounced against her weight.
