Running Mustangs, No. 3
I went in search of the Kigers who often are in areas hard to access unless you have a four wheel drive. This time I decided to go on a gravel road on the east side of Steens Mountain, and I did see couple of small bands of wild horses, probably from the Coyote Lake - Alvord-Tule Springs herd, mostly at a distance. This small band was grazing, but as soon as they saw me observing them, even at the distance I was, they took off.
