Description
Two Tawny Eagles in a Tree, No. 3
This was a fascinating episode to see. First we saw the one Tawny eagle in flight, and then landing in this tree. Shortly afterwards, the first eagle moved to another part of the tree as a second eagle came and landed behind it. We didn't know whether the two were a male and female, or parent and child, or what was going on between them, but the poses and expressions and calls were amazing. The first eagle moved to a tree further out, while the larger eagle stayed on this tree. See the full series of six photographs (more were taken) in my Namibia and Botswana gallery and a collage.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
