Whenever I visit friends in Southern California where I grew up, I feel like I am going back in time. Some areas changed after the earthquake but some areas seem just the same.. There has been a restaurant and a trailer park at Paradise Cove for ages. When I was growing up it looked like a reglar trailer park, except it was on the beach. Now the ''="trailer homes" have beem renovated and modernized and go fo around 2-2.5 million and modified to look verty modern. Pamela Anderson and Betsey Johnson are two celebritites who have lived in the complex as well as Matthew McConaughey who parks an airstream there. Built in 1945, the current pier is only about one third of the original due to the storms of 1983.
