Wild Horses with Playful Spirits No 1 cr bw
These are two brothers, Traveler (2015) and Pallaton (2014), from the Palomino Butte Wild Horses herd. They are from a band of five, and was the first and last band I saw on this trip to Harney County. I saw them each of the three days I was there, although on the second day they were at a distance. What was especially fun to watch about this herd was the interaction between the two brothers, both full of playful spirit. Traveler, the younger one was usually the instigator. This is the black and white cropped version of the first of a series of 8 of this playful interaction, all also available in color.
