Description
Strange Herd
The first evening I was in Burns, I drove out to Malheur Wildlife Refuge to re-familiarize myself with the setting. On the way back as the evening was settling in, I saw a lovely sight, of what I thought was a herd of horses with two foals running across the range. Later when reviewing on my computer, I saw that the foals were two burros. I don't know if these band was wild or domestic as it is hard to distinguish between private and public lands and barbed wire often separates the public land from the roads. Anyway, it was an interesting sight!

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
