I didn't see any horses at first untiol I came about this group[ of 38 or more. Perhaps multiple bands. I understand this Utah herd tends to travel in large groups. I enjoyed watching the horses. Most of the time they were grazing, but every once in a while one stallion would get upset with another and a fight would break out. There was also a young colt who was nuzzling and then play fighting with a yearling, perhaps a brother? After I left this group, on the way back the dusty dirt road, I suddenly saw scores of horses running from the hills to Simpson Springs. An amazing sight and more dynamics to watch with the horses. This pair looked so much alike, I wondered if they were brothers or father and son, but they were quite annoyed and fierce with each other. The group of horses was quite peacefully grazing, and then suddenly you would hear the horses vocalizing and a fight would break out.
