Description
Three Lakes Viewed from Grinnell Glacier
Grinnell Glacier hike was probably the toughest hike I experienced in Glacier what with the intermittent rain and carrying camera gear. It seemed to go uphill despite promises of it being "flat" for the first four miles and was endless. I nearly cried when I thought I was near the end, and someone said we had an hour more. But the views were breathtaking, overlooking Grinnell, Josephine and Swiftcurrent lakes, and it was worth it when we got up to the glacier. The glacier is doomed to melt thanks to global warming, so I was very grateful to see it. A splendid place - just wish I had wings!

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
