Calf is Blue
This is a portrait of a young calf seen out on a ranch near Burns, Oregon. In that area, there is a lot of public land so the cows do have a lot of room and are not taken away from their mothers at the start. At the same time, there is something sad about thinking about all these animals lives and the fact they are being primarily raised for our food.
