Comet Neowise, a Shooting Star and the Big Dipper over Fern Ridge
The comet was much fainter on the second night I photographed it over Fern Ridge 7/24/20. In this image you can see the Big Dipper above it and a shooting star between Big Dipper and the comet. I felt strangely sad, that this would be the last time I would see this comet, and I thought that the last time it had come near earth was around 4780 BC and the next time will be 8820, and those thoughts make one's lifetime seem like a speck of dust.
