Description
The Direct Stare of an Osprey
A female osprey stares directly into the camera. Ospreys diet on fish, and they, along with owls, are the only raptors that have reversible outer toes that allow them to grasp the fish with two toes in front and two behind. Female ospreys are slightly larger than the males.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
