Description
Cardinale Seduto at the Getty
This was my second visit to the Getty (the center in Los Angeles vs the Villa) and I enjoyed it so much more as we arrived late in the afternoon and stayed until a 9pm closing. We not only avoided the soaring temperatures but we enjoyed the space, an amazing architectural gem by Richard Meier. in the best light. My only disappointment was that they did not allow tripods. The sculpture at the end of the pavillion is a bronze sculpture, Cardinale Seduto (Cardinal Sitting), by Italian artist, Giacomo Manzù. I loved the form of the sculpture which looked so serene on the terrace backed by the lights of Los Angeles.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
