Description
A male Yellow-headed blackbird flies along a barbed wire fence that bordered the farm fields outside of Burns in Eastern Oregon. I loved the white markings on the male's wings, something one couldn't easily see when the blackbird was perched on a fence, so I spent some time trying to catch one in flight - not an easy when I was initially using my car as a blind. Although I didn't get much white in this image, (I did in another), I loved the way this turned out.
