Description
Hare in Late Afternoon Light
This hare paused and seemed transfixed by the beautiful late afternoon light. Also know as a jackrabbit, the hare is part of the rabbit family, but differs from the rabbit in that they are born fully furred and with their eyes open and can fend for themselves shortly after birth. They are larger and have longer ears. They have 48 chromosomes while rabbits have 44.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
