Description
Osprey Reinforcing the Nest
This nest had been complete 2-3 weeks earlier, but building a nest the old fashioned way, rather than on a man-made platform and between 100-200 feet in the air has its disadvantages. This next is across the river and the nest is roughly about 10-15 stories high. When the wind blows, the cradle will rock and so will the nest. I would love to see the weaving of branches up close. One of the osprey is rather small, but a closeup of this image is the one osprey, I believe the male, who is not the one seen most and I was astounded by the wingspan.

Nature, animals, beauty have been a source of nourishment throughout my life. Photography allows me to capture, interpret, and share that world of wonder I see about me, and sometimes use what I capture as an inspiration to create something new, by incorporating other exposures, textures or brushwork.
