Description
As I rounded a curve there was a grizzly in the middle of the road. Luckily I was driving slowly and was able to stop 20 feet away from her. Behind her about another 20 feet behind was a cub that was running to catch up. The cub ran back up the steep gravel slop on the side of the road. On the other side was a lake. The mother followed the cub partially up the hill. I drove past them and turned around about 100 yards away and put my flashers on. The pair then crossed the road again but I could see a big RV rig coming and not slowing down, so I laid on my horn whereupon the driver stopped. The cub ran back jup the hill again and the mother followed. I took some pictures and then drove away hoping they finally made it across the road, but worried as people drive way too fast in areas where there's wildlife.
