White-Faced Ibis Rising, No. 2
This wasn't my first time seeing the white-faced-ibis, but the first I saw must have been juvenile and weren't that impressive. And when I first saw the adults in breeding plumage, I thought they were similar to the Glossy Ibis I had seen in Virginia. Oh but when I saw them in flight, their colors are just exquisite, and the fields they are in with the white wildflowers and long grasses provide the perfect setting.. I have four images, this, and two others of White-Faced Ibis Rising, and one of White-Faced Ibis Preparing to Land - check those out in my bird gallery. These would make a beautiful series for your walls.
